Digital Account Strategist

We are looking for a proven, experienced digital marketing account strategist up for the challenge and ready to grow. This position will report to the Account Director and CEO of the company while also working closely with the managers of all service teams to discuss and share client feedback while creating strategies for clients based on their needs to implement.

What you’ll do:
If you love to hire and manage agencies, this role is NOT for you. This is definitely a hands-on, in-the-trenches, roll-up-your-sleeves (enough clichés?) type of role. In addition to creating a strategy, planning campaigns and being the main face of our company to the clients you manage. We run lean and mean leveraging a mercenary marketing team already in place that will be managed in large part by our Account Director under your direction.

Key Responsibilities of this Position:
This position will involve you being the core point of contact for all clients under your domain. You will meet up with each of the clients digitally at least once per month to discuss their marketing campaigns, performance, recommendations, and applied feedback. You will take specific notes during the call to ensure all client needs, topics, and agenda are recorded. You will help new clients on board with the company, and provide feedback to your team to improve the client experience. You will be the face of the company they see, their best friend, and triage requests and project tasks for managers internally.
· Create & execute an effective marketing strategy in collaboration with the SEO and PPC team
· Manage client expectations, requests, and make suggestions to benefit the client experience.
· Ensure your service team is effectively managing and maximizing marketing spend to generate high-quality opportunities for the lowest possible cost
· Collaborate with sales, BDR, product, and account management teams to align on strategies and campaigns needed to achieve goals across the company

Our Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for candidates with experience in digital marketing, analytics, and strategy. You likely have done this before and are ready to apply your skills and experience to do it again – but even better this time. Here’s a little of what we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of digital marketing account management experience or something equivalent in a similar position.

  • A natural A player and leader

  • Experience creating and executing successful marketing strategies alone or with teams.

  • Strong presenter that can host video conferences, and carry on sophisticated conversations with a variety of business owners.

  • Grammatically sound with a professional voice in person and in email.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams

  • Deep understanding of marketing metrics and analysis

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
